🚀 Getting Started

This guide will help you access and navigate the Content Editor for the first time.

Prerequisites

  • Teacher account - You must be logged in as a teacher
  • Class ownership - You must own or be a content expert for the class
  • Generated content - At least some content should be pre-generated via the Cache Generation Wizard
💡 Tip: Generate Content First Before using the Content Editor, use the Cache Generation Wizard to bulk-generate content for all competencies. This gives you versions to review and edit.

How to Access the Content Editor

Method 1: From Teacher Dashboard (Recommended)

Open Teacher Dashboard

Navigate to /teacher-dashboard.html and log in with your teacher credentials.

Select Your Class

Click on the class card you want to edit content for.

Go to Customize Tab

In the class details modal, navigate to the "Customize" tab.

Click Edit Cached Content

Click the "✏️ Edit Cached Content" button to open the Content Editor.

Method 2: Direct URL

You can access the editor directly using the class ID:

⚠️ Access Control Only the class owner and invited content experts can access the editor. If you're not authorized, you'll see a 403 Forbidden error.

Header Section

The header displays:

  • Class name - The class you're editing
  • Your role - Owner or Content Expert
  • Back to Dashboard - Quick return link

AI Advisory Banner

A rotating banner with 15 different messages reminds you to fact-check AI content:

  • Auto-rotates every 8 seconds
  • Pauses on hover for readability
  • Manual navigation with indicator dots

Content Accordion

Content is organized in an accordion structure:

Your First Content Review

Expand a Competency

Click on any competency name to expand it and see available content modes (KE, SPL, SATA).

Select a Content Mode

Click on KE, SPL, or SATA to see the available versions for that mode.

View a Version

Click [View] to preview the content. Check for accuracy and clarity.

Set as Active (if satisfied)

If the version looks good, click [Set Active] to make it the version students see.
